Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia promoting retinal scan microchip based currency

April 27, 2009
By

Creepy demo put on at the Federal Reserve Bank in Philadephia predicts a future in which people must have their retinas or embedded microchips scanned in order to buy a “hovercar.” The relevant segment of video runs from :31 to 1:45.

Text:

“So you’ve just financed your new hovercar. To make your first loan payment, stand still for a retinal scan.”

“You’re retina’s not registering. And you don’t have a microimplant either. You must be from the past.”

Humorous, slightly disturbing.
